Vivan Bhatena
The dashing model-turned actor Vivan Bhatena is a well known face in Indian television. He is loved and appreciated for his amazing screen presence.He was the winner of `Gladrags Mr. India 2001` and has not looked back since then. He became the heartthrob of millions of adolescents after he appeared in the music video of Falguni Pathak titled `Maine Payal Hai Chankai`. He also worked as a VJ for Channel V.
He was also seen in the popular Balaji soaps `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi` as Abhishek and Dhruv in the Star Plus' afternoon daily `Kumkum`. He also made a brief appearance in the show Time Bomb which has created waves on the small screen. Recently he is seen in the character portrayal of Shabd in another daily `Maayka`. He was seen in another show titled `Chuna Hai Aasman` which was based on air force.
The model-turned actor has his feet firm in the world of theater and has been casted by popular theater director like Sandiip Sikcand in `Oh God`, `Chanpagne On The House`, and `The Verdict` by Divya Palat. Within a span of few years he has become a very popular face in the television industry. At the age of 18, he stepped into modeling world.
His first assignment was of Levis Jeans which became extremely popular later on. Facing the camera for the first time was a scary experience for Vivan. He claims that theater would be his first choice when it comes to enjoying something. He enjoys the process of acting in theater and loves the immediate gratification that one receives in theater with live audience.
He also claims that it is good to have the pleasure of retakes also and working with co-stars who would remain friends for a long time is indeed another benefit of working for the medium of television. His journey with his co-stars has also been very pleasant and his work environments in different sets have also been extremely comfortable.
Vivan Bhatena was also seen in a brief role in the Bollywood blockbusters 'Chak De India' and 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'.
On the personal front also this young, talented actor is extremely happy and loves to keep experimenting with his car's engine and modifying it. Experimental cooking also helps him to de-stress. The personal high in his life is also marked by his marriage with his longtime girl friend Nikhila Palat.
